RAYMOND L. DONELSON

Raymond L. Donelson, 57, of Richmond, MO, died at 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 30, 2009, at his home.
Raymond was born April 18, 1951 in Kansas City, MO to Raymond Eugene and Mary Helen (Bennett) Donelson. He married Deborah Davis of Cedar Falls, IA on November 30, 1970. He later married Jean Stadler of Kansas City, MO on May 29, 1975.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Hollie Donelson of Hilton Head, SC; three daughters and one son-in-law, Rachel Greenwood of Kearney, MO, Katie Roach of Derby, KS and Veronica and Nathan Hurley of Odessa, MO; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Mary Louise and Joel Adams of Seattle, WA, Lois Marie Dawkins of Bothell, WA, Joyce Elizabeth and Paul Steen of The Woodlands, TX; and eleven grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Jean McNaughton.
Raymond worked at Fowler Bus Company as a mechanic for 20 years. He was a lifelong Ray County area resident.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Raymond L. Donelson Memorial Fund.

Visitation will be Friday, April 3 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. Services will be held at the Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond, MO. Burial will be at Crowley Cemetery, Rayville, MO, where military graveside services will be conducted by the American Legion Post #237 and the Richmond VFW Post #4398. Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond, MO is in charge of the arrangements.
