RAY W. HENRY

Ray W. Henry, 92, of Smithville, MO and formerly of Denver, CO, died at 1:10 p.m., Saturday, January 23, 2010, at the Bristol Manor in Smithville.
Mr. Henry was born January 24, 1917 in Richmond, MO to Frank and Loie (Jones) Henry. He married Edith M. Ogg of Richmond on April 30, 1937; she preceded him in death on December 17, 2002.
Survivors include two sons, Jon F. Henry of Honduras and Jerry A. Henry of Greeley, CO; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by two sisters.
Mr. Henry was a truck driver for Farmland Industries Coop in North Kansas City, MO and then later in Denver, CO for 36 years before retiring. He was a Baptist.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, January 27, at 3:00 p.m. at the Crowley Cemetery, Rayville, MO. Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond, MO is in charge of the arrangements.
