REBA B. BROWN

Reba B. Brown, 90, of Lee's Summit, MO, died at 1:40 a.m. on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at the Wilshire at Lakewood Nursing Home in Lee's Summit, MO.
Reba was born on May 27, 1920 in Ray County, MO to Homer and Susie (Brockman) Yallaly. She married Kenneth Vincent Brown of Ray County, MO on July 4, 1940. He preceded her in death on October 31, 1978.
Survivors include; one son and daughter-in law, Ronald D. and Judy Brown of Lee's Summit, MO, one daughter, Joyce Elaine Mersman of Rich Hill, MO, three sisters and one brother-in-law, Ruth Graham of Richmond, MO, Margaret and Melvin Williams of Richmond, MO, Fay Gardner of Kansas City, MO, several grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Reba was a nurse's aide at the Jackson County Hospital for thirty years before retiring in 1985. She was a member of the Richmond Church of God. She had lived in Ray County, Mo before moving to Lee's Summit, Mo in 1957.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to North Care Hospice.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 A.M. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial will be in the Richmond Memory Gardens Cemetery.
