Their relationship was a continuation of a lifelong friendship that began in childhood. Pam survives him at their home, holding dear the memories of their shared journey and enduring friendship.

He was an active member of the Richmond Masonic Lodge and a man of Christian faith. Richard had a passion for woodworking and particularly enjoyed crafting mini replicas of trucks, a hobby that reflected both his professional life and his creative talents. His craftsmanship and dedication to his work were admired by many.
