RICHARD EUGENE TODD, SR.

Richard Eugene Todd, Sr., 72, of Richmond, MO died Monday, February 2, 2015 at Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Excelsior Springs, MO.

Richard was born on December 15, 1942 in Aurora, MO to Early B. and Bonnie L. (Titterington) Todd. He married Bertha Butler. They later divorced.

Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, William and Crystal Todd of Richmond and Richard Eugene Todd, Jr., of Aurora, MO; one daughter, Elizabeth Louise Todd of Richmond; 6 grandchildren, Adelin Todd, Emma Pettit, Ely Roberts, Katelen Roberts, Bishop Peterson and Aidan Peterson.

In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by one brother.

Richard was a 1962 graduate of Aurora High School. Richard moved from Aurora to Richmond in 1981. He worked at Higginsville Rehabilitation Center as a care giver before retiring in 2010. He was member of the Sherriff's Posse when living in Aurora.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Richard Eugene Todd memorial fund.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Maple Park Cemetery in Aurora, MO. Visitation will be Thursday, February 5, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. On line condolences may be left on our website at www.thurmanfuneralhome.com
