Ricky Lee Covey, 59, of Henrietta, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, October 17, 2026, at his home.

Ricky was born on April 4, 1967, in Richmond, the son of Billy W. And Josephine (Stevens) Covey.

Survivors include: two sons, Dustin (Kristen) Covey of Mayview and David Covey of Odessa; daughter, Brittany (Cade) Covey of Norborne; stepdaughter, Tiffany Adams (Angela Kirkham) of Arkansas; five grandchildren: Carson, Sophia, Olivia, Easton, and Paisley; brother, Billy Covey of Richmond; and sister, Joanne Judd of Richmond.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Eddie Covey and Randy Covey, and sister, Elsie Odonell.

Ricky was a simple, down-to-earth man who enjoyed the little things in life. He loved spending time outdoors, whether he was fishing, hunting, metal detecting, or enjoying a day down by the river. While he found happiness in the great outdoors, nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his grandchildren. Ricky didn't need much to be happy; he simply enjoyed the things he loved and the people who meant the most to him.
