ROBERT WAYNE BLAKEMAN

Robert Wayne Blakeman, 65, of Richmond, MO, died Thursday, April 23, 2015 at North Care Hospice House, North Kansas City, MO.

Bob was born on December 7, 1949 in Bethany, MO to Robert E. and Iola F. (Damon) Blakeman.

Survivors include: one son, Jason S. Blakeman and his wife Karen of Warrensburg, MO; one daughter, Bobbie Lynn Charles and her husband Keith of Lexington, MO; four grandchildren, Randall A. Taloney and his wife Jodi, Kaetlyn Jackson and her husband Cole, Victoria (Tori) Blakeman and Dalton Charles; three great-grandchildren, Mason Blakeman, Braydyn Blakeman and Brenton Jackson; three brothers, Richard L. and his wife Reta of Rayville, MO, Donald G. and his wife Mary Alice of Richmond and Rodney D. and his wife Teresa of Rayville; one sister, Elizabeth A. Moppin and her husband George Andy of Richmond, and several nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents.

Bob was a retired auto worker, having worked for 30 years for General Motors. He was a member of United Auto Workers, Local # 31. He lived most of his life in the Richmond area and was a member of the Richmond Christian Chapel.

The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Show Me Christian Youth Home.

Graveside services will be held at 11: 30 a.m., Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Crowley Cemetery near Rayville, MO. Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of the arrangements. On line condolences may be left on our website at www.thurmanfuneralhome.com
