ROBERT "BOB" CROSBY

Robert Crosby, 75, of Hardin, MO died Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at North Care Hospice House in North Kansas City, MO.
Bob was born on December 23, 1936 in Anderson, MO to Lester Ray and Lillian Lena Lucille (Carmen) Crosby. He married Dot Stegall of Anderson, MO on November 27, 1959; she survives of the home.
Additional survivors include two sons, Norman Ray Crosby of Hardin and Lester Paul Crosby of Hardin; one daughter and son-in-law, Marietta Lynn and Darren Kent Baker of Richmond, MO; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Benny and Laverne Crosby of Anderson and Doug Crosby on Norfolk, VA; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Nina Baker of Anderson, Onamae and Jack Reardon of Anderson, Rose Mary Carter of Anderson and Wanda and Roy Benge of Palestine, TX; 7 grandchildren, Brandon Leach, Jeremy Leach, Tiffany Crosby, Dillian Crosby, Lesa Dunwoodie, Jessica Baker and Kaitlyn Baker; and five great-grandchildren also survive.
Bob was owner and operator of the Hardin Home Improvement for many years. He also worked for Ideal Industries for five years. He was of the Christian faith. Bob had lived in Anderson, MO before moving to Hardin in 1960. Robert loved fishing and gardening.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Robert "Bob" Crosby memorial fund.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Inurnment will be at a later date. Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of the arrangements.
