ROBERT DEAN "BOB" PLILER

Robert Dean "Bob" Pliler, 57, of Richmond, MO died Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Ray County Memorial Hospital, MO.

Robert was born on December 25, 1958 in Richmond to Lewis Elwood and Georgia Christine (Cates) Drew.

Survivors include; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Ryan Daniel and Christi Pliler of Richmond and Robert Lee and April Pliler of Excelsior Springs, MO; three brothers and one sisters-in-law, Lewis and Debbie Drew of Excelsior Spring's, MO, Joe Henry Pliler of South Carolina and Allen Eugene Pliler of Little Rock, AR; one sister, Julie (Drew) Hill of Hamilton, MO; 5 grandchildren, Chase Riley Pliler, Emma Reese Pliler, Chloe Ann Pliler, Rhian Camelle Pliler and Macie Adelyn Plilar; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Robert worked at Ford Motor Company as an assembler for 25 years before retiring in 2002. He was a member of the U.A.W. Union Local #249 in Kansas City, MO.  Robert was a member of the Angerona Lodge # 193 A.F. & A.M. in Missouri City. He was of the Christian faith. He lived in Richmond most of his life.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Memorial graveside services will be held on Monday, June 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Richmond Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, June 13, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a masonic service at 10:45 a.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond.
