ROBERT KIRBY HENRY
Robert Kirby Henry, 58, of Richmond, Mo, died on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the North Kansas City Hospital in North Kansas City, Mo.
Kirby was born on June 12, 1958 in Richmond, Mo to James Edward and Carol Jean (Raasch) Henry. His father preceded him in death.
Survivors include; his Mother, Carol J. Henry of Richmond, Mo, 1 brother and sister-in-law, Craig and Stacy Henry of Richmond, Mo, a nephew, Cody Henry, a niece Cady Henry, an Aunt and Uncle, Bob and Claire Raasch and 2 cousins, Jason Raasch and his wife, Aimee, Jonathan Raasch and his wife, Kristie.
In addition to his father, Kirby was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Douglas Henry.
Kirby was a heavy equipment operator for several years. Lately, he worked for the Tracy Brothers in their farming operation. He graduated from Richmond High School in 1976. He was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Richmond, and was baptized and confirmed in the Grace Lutheran Church in Lexington, Mo. Kirby was a lifelong Richmond resident.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either the Faith Lutheran Church or to the Ray County Veterans.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, April 3, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 3, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Inurnment will be at a later date.
