ROBERT SAMUEL (BOB) RENO

Robert Samuel (Bob) Reno, 77, of Tonganoxie, KS died Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Lawrence, Kansas.

Bob was born on May 28, 1940 in Mount Pleasant, PA to Robert Floyd and Evelyn (Morton) Reno. He married Mary Ann Hartman of Kansas City, KS on August 25, 1959; she survives of the home.

Additional survivors include: three sons, Robert Wayne Reno of Kansas City, KS, Dean Barry Reno and his wife Janet Sue of Oskaloosa, KS and Rodney Floyd Reno of Tonganoxie, KS; one sister, Rosanne Pickle of Kansas City, MO; three brothers: Gary Dean Reno, Leavenworth, KS, Wayne E. Reno (Janey), Easton, KS and Jerry A. Reno (Debbie), Kansas City, KS; 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bob's work history included working for Gold Blatt Tool in Kansas City, KS and as a machinist at S.O.R., Inc. in Lenexa, KS. Many things could categorize Bob's love of life. He loved his Lord, his wife, his family and riding motorcycles. He enjoyed riding his bike for causes, such as Toys for Tots and the homeless. He was of the Baptist faith and lived most of his life in Kansas City, KS.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Robert Samuel (Bob) Reno Memorial Fund.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond, MO. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Wednesday. Burial will be in Richmond Memory Gardens Cemetery, Richmond, MO.
