RONALD L. KLEINSCHMIDT

Ronald L. Kleinschmidt, 70, of rural Richmond, MO died Friday, February 10, 2017 at Ray County Memorial Hospital in Richmond.

Ron was born on September 4, 1946 in Merrill, WI to Lawrence and Carmelitta (Ament) Kleinschmidt, Sr. He married Dawn M. Sobecke of Milwaukee, WI on November 25, 1980. She survives of the home.

Additional survivors include; one son, Ronald Kleinschmidt, Jr., of Green Bay, WI; two daughters and sons-in-law, Charlene and Duane Olthoff of Kiel, WI and Pamela and John Pearsall of Minocqua, WI; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Laurence and Marie Kleinschmidt of Merrill, WI and James Kleinschmidt of Lake Tomahawk, WI; one sister and brother-in-law, Vergean and Dennis Schmidt of Merrill, WI; and 7 grandchildren

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents.

Ron worked for Ray-Carroll for the past 16 years, where he was known as Ron Runaway Rocky.  He was of the Catholic faith.  Ron enjoyed gardening, fishing and baking.  He loved to take his dogs FiFi and Lucy for walks.  He also enjoyed working around the house with his wife.  Ron lived in Richmond for the past 25 years.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Ronald L. Kleinschmidt memorial fund.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Inurnment will be at a later date.
