Ronald was reared and educated in the area of his birth and lived most of his life in Ray County.  His whole life revolved around farming and agriculture related industries.  Ronald first started helping his father in farming at a young age baling hay, raising cattle, and logging.  He and his father helped cut down all the big trees, when building Truman Lake, to use the logs in various construction of bridges etc. around Missouri.  Over the years, he eventually farmed on his own.  Ronald was always there to help his friends, in farming, and they were always there to lend a hand when he needed one.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially hunting for antelope in Wyoming with his sons.  Ronald enjoyed reading, especially the World Book Encyclopedias, and loved to watch the Nature and History channels.  He will be dearly missed by his friends and family.
