Rosa-Lee Knight, 91, of Richmond, formerly of Independence, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023, at Oak Ridge Assisted Living in Richmond, with her family by her bedside.

Rosa-Lee was born on April 22, 1931, in Red Oak, IA, the daughter of Emmett Elijah and Mollie (Dumler) Hopkins. She was married to Gene Knight, he preceded her in death.

Survivors include: son, Bobby Don (Kim) Davis of Richmond; two granddaughters, Rachael Anne Bersano and Sarah Dawn DeGeare; two grandsons, Eli James and Patrick Ryan Bersano.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Robert Dean Hopkins and sister Betty Mesenbrink

Rosa-Lee was reared and educated in Lakeview, IA and graduated in 1950. After high school she moved to Kansas City where she first worked for Western Auto. Rosa-Lee worked for 30 years for TWA Airlines until she retired as an accounting clerk. She loved to travel and had been all over the world. She loved to fish. She was of the Presbyterian faith. She lived most of her life in Independence until coming to Richmond.
