Rosalie M. McNeil

Rosalie M. McNeil, 76, of Richmond, MO and formerly of Excelsior Springs, MO died Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond, MO.
Rosalie was born on September 21, 1936 in Kansas City, MO to Leland and Stella (Brown) Jones. She first married Herbert Edgman of Columbus, KS; he preceded her in death in 1966. She later married Elsworth McNeil of Colorado Springs, CO; he preceded her in death in 1986.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Oren and Brigitte Edgman of Seattle, WA; two daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle and Kent Dickey of Richmond, MO and Peggy and Mike Riley of Wood Heights, MO; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.
In addition to her parents; Rosalie was preceded in death by two sons, Herb Edgman and Pete Edgman; two daughters, Alesta Horn and Julie Montegue; three brothers, Kenny, Walterand Lee, ;three sisters, Meda, Orpha and Eva; and two granddaughters also preceded her in death, Jennifer and Ashley.
Rosalie worked at the Park Hill College as a cook for several years. She was of the Christian faith. She had lived in Excelsior Springs, MO before moving to Richmond two years ago. Rosalie was a member of AA and celebrated over 20 years of sobriety.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Rosalie M. McNeil memorial fund.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 29, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be Monday, July 29, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Inurnment will be at a later date.
