ROSELLA LENORA HURSHMAN

Rosella Lenora Hurshman, 75, of Orrick, MO, died at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at her home.
Rosella was born on August 17, 1935 in St. Louis, MO to Joseph M. and Georgena (Gillispie) Day. She married Kenneth D. Hurshman, Sr. of Orrick, MO on May 30, 1952. He survives of the home.
Additional survivors include: four sons and three daughters-in-law, Kenneth D. Hurshman, Jr. of Arkansas, Clifford A. and Deborah Hurshman of Braymer, MO, Bruce M. and Sherri Hurshman of Orrick, MO, Donald A. and Penny Hurshman of Orrick, four daughters and four sons-in-law, Pamela R. and Butch Fugate of Hamilton, MO, Gloria J. and Joe Francis of Centerview, MO, Gladys J. and Dale Sharp of Independence, MO, Denise L. and Steven Hopkins of Sheldon, MO, four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Carol H. Day of Independence, MO, Keith and Ginny Day of Pomme de Terre, MO, Joe and Barb Day of Independence, MO, Jimmy and Sybil Day of Kansas City, MO. There are too many grandchildren and great-grandchildren to mention, but all were loved.
In addition to her parents, Rosella was preceded in death by: one son who died in infancy, two brothers, Wendall Day, Victor Day and one granddaughter, Alicia Rose Hurshman.
Rosella was a homemaker. She was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Richmond, where she had been a Priest since 1992. She had lived in Ray County, MO most of her life.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to North Care Hospice.
