ROSEMARY BARNARD

Rosemary Barnard, 70, of Orrick, MO died Sunday, February 25, 2017 at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.

Rosemary was born on October 8, 1946 in Independence, MO to Mack William and Ora (Brinkley) Claypole. She married Norman C. Barnard of Orrick on March 17, 1967. He survives of the home.

Additional survivors include; one son, Floyd Barnard of Orrick; one daughter, Janet Barnard of Hardin, MO; one brother, Shirley G. Claypole of Orrick; one sister, Barbara Murry of Orrick; one granddaughter, Elizabeth Steele and her husband, Paul; and three great-grandchildren, Star, Tori and Koby Steele.

In addition to her parents, Rosemary was preceded in death by one brother, Jessie Claypole.

Rosemary was a homemaker. She was of the Christian faith. She lived most of her life in Orrick. Rosemary was an avid General Hospital fan and loved attending Wrisinger's auctions.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Shirkey Hospice and Palliative Care.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond, MO. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Craven Cemetery near Camden, MO.
