ROY EDWARD KOLTER

Roy Edward Kolter, 75, of Norborne, Mo, died on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at the Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond, Mo.

Roy was born on December 23, 1941 in Norborne, Mo to Roy Delbert and Margaret Othara (Edwards) Kolter. They both preceded him in death.

Survivors include; 1 cousin, Jennifer Sutton of Carrollton, Mo and many close friends.

Roy was a member of the Norborne United Methodist Church, where he was a lay speaker and held many board positions throughout the years. He had a strong Christian faith. Roy had a close relationship with everyone in the Norborne community. He was a lifelong Norborne resident.

Memorial contributions may be made to either the Norborne United Methodist Church or to Providence Cemetery.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Norborne United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Providence Cemetery, north of Norborne, Mo. On line condolences may be left on our website at www.thurmanfuneralhome.com.
