RUTH (FALKE) MILLER

Ruth Falke Miller, 93, of Norborne, MO died on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Liberty Terrace Care Center in Liberty, MO. Ruth was born on July 27, 1917 to Jesse William and Ethel (Simpson) Falke. She married Claud Klank Miller on April 10, 1942. He preceded her in death on November 4, 1987.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Francie Miller of Cleburne, TX, one daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Larry Kuhlman of Kearney, MO, one sister, Genevieve O'Neal of Ruston, LA, 5 grandsons, Justin Miller, Jeff Miller, Kwenton Kuhlman, Kabot Kuhlman and Karson Kuhlman, and 4 great-grandchildren, Caleb Miller, Jessica Miller, Hudson Kuhlman and Saylor Kuhlman.
In addition to her parents and husband, Ruth was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters.

Ruth graduated from Carrollton High School and Chillicothe Business College. Prior to her marriage, Ruth was a secretary in Kansas City at Montgomery Ward and the Lake City Ammunition Plant. She was a homemaker and a lifelong Carroll County resident. She was a member of the Roads Homemakers Extension Club. She was a lifelong member of McCroskie Creek Baptist Church. She was a WMU member and went on mission trips to Belarus and Brazil. She was regarded as a prayer warrior. Ruth found joy being outdoors, gardening, and helping others.

In lieu of flowers, it was Ruth's desire that memorial contributions be made to the McCroskie Creek Baptist Church or the adjoining McCroskie Cemetery at 17350 CR 256, Carrollton, MO 64633.

It was Ruth's desire to have her body donated to science. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, July 10, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at the McCroskie Creek Baptist Church, northeast of Norborne. Inurnment will be in the Fairhaven Cemetery in Norborne at a later date.
