RUTH MAXINE TAYLOR

Ruth Maxine Taylor, 77, of Lawson, MO died Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Liberty Hospital, Liberty, MO.
Maxine was born on June 19, 1935 in Polo, MO to Emmett and Agnus (Dowl) Keen. She married James Dean Taylor of Industry, PA on October 8, 1960; he survives of the home.
Additional survivors include one son, Ray Deleno Holder of Richmond, MO; two daughters and sons-in-law, Terri and Kevin Stanley of Richmond and Vickie and Pat Daeley of Anaheim, CA; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Curtis and Paula Keen of Excelsior Springs, MO, Calvin and Mary Keen of Richmond, Deryl and Wanda Keen of Richmond and James and Terry Keen of Richmond; four grandchildren, Carolyn Marie Edward-Knight, Michael Ray Daeley, Kevin James Stanley and Samantha Terin Stanley; and three great-grandchildren, Jessica Jordan Edwards, Patrick James Edwards and King Kevin Stanley.
In addition to her parents, Maxine was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Ann Keen and Mary Jane Allee.
Maxine lived in Tustin, CA where she worked at Thrifty Drug Company until she retired. She moved from Tustin, CA to Richmond in June of 1989. Maxine was also a Cosmetologist and a housewife and homemaker. She enjoyed painting, sewing and knitting and crocheting. She was of the Christian faith.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Lupus Foundation.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 15, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be Friday, February 15, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Richmond Memory Gardens Cemetery. Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of the arrangements.
