SHERRY FARABEE

Sherry Farabee, 72, of Richmond, MO and formerly of Henrietta, MO died Friday, April 17, 2015 at the Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.

Sherry was born on September 7, 1942 in Alabama to Earl and Frances (Hardison) Mitchell. She married Tom Farabee of Henrietta on June 3, 1960. He preceded her in death on February 12, 1999.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Felicia Farabee of Henrietta; one daughter and one son-in-law, Kristi Acree and Richard Kuehling of Richmond; and four grandchildren, Erin Farabee, Matt Acree, Laura Acree and Lucas Farabee.

Sherry was a homemaker. She worked for 10 years at Casey's in Henrietta. She was of the Baptist faith. She lived most of her life in Henrietta. Sherry was very proud of her grandkids. She loved to read and make cakes. She was lifelong Elvis fan.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Shirkey's Hospice.

A memorial graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Woodland Cemetery in Richmond. A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond.
