Stephen was born on June 16, 1961, in Stow, OH, the son of George Davis.  He was united in marriage to Trudy Lynn Campbell of Norborne on August 1, 2008; she preceded him in death on February 13, 2009.

Survivors include: one son, Matthew D. Thoeni of Liberty; one brother, Edwin "Eddie" (Linda) Davis of Akron, OH; one sister, Cynthia Davis of Akron, OH.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and one brother, Mike Davis.

Stephen was reared and educated in Stow, OH.  After high school, he attended Akron University, where he received his Bachelor of Science. After college, Stephen worked back and forth between Ohio and St. Louis as a computer programmer.  Stephen eventually moved to the Kansas City area, where he worked for Cerner as a Systems Engineer, until he retired.  He loved going to concerts, especially with his son, Matt.  Together, they enjoyed all types of music venues.  Stephen loved music in general, but especially Rock 'N' Roll.  He was a huge Ohio State fan.
