SUSAN SPERBECK DAUGHERTY

Susan Sperbeck Daugherty, 57, of Warrensburg, MO, formerly of Richmond, MO, died Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Research Hospital in Kansas City, MO.
Susan was born on December 12, 1954 in Richmond, MO. The daughter of James E. and Mary Jane (Kirby) Sperbeck. She married Keith Daugherty of Warrensburg in December of 1998; he preceded her in death in January 2010.
Survivors include: One sister Patricia Hardison and her husband Jim of Richmond, one niece Tracy Fitch and her husband Scott of Richmond, two great nieces Shelby Dawn Parker and Emily Ann Fitch, both of Richmond and special companion Ricky Morgan of Boonville, MO
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one sister Marylin Kay Sperbeck in infancy.
Susan received her education at University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg. She first received her Bachelor's Degree in social work. Then 10 years later went back to earn her Master's Degree in Gerontology. She worked many years in home health care for the elderly in Warrensburg at Park View Gardens. Her last employed was at the University of Central Missouri for the Physical Plant. She was of the Christian faith.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the donor's choice.


Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial will be in the Woodland Cemetery at Richmond.
