Tammy Marie Woolery, 61, of Richmond, passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 27, 2026, at Ray County Memorial Hospital in Richmond.

Tammy was born on June 20, 1964, in Kansas City, the daughter of Clarence LeRoy and Sammie (Lancaster) Woolery.

Survivors include: her parents, Clarence & Sammie Woolery of Sedalia; two daughters, Fantasy Otis and Faylena Otis, both of Richmond; and her brother, Clarence (Sam) Woolery of Wisconsin.

Tammy carried a strong and unwavering spirit from the day she was born until the day she passed. She met life head-on, facing its realities with courage and determination, never turning away from what needed to be endured or overcome.

In the quieter moments, Tammy found her escape and comfort in books, where she could rest her mind and wander beyond the weight of the world. Those who knew her understood how deeply she cherished those peaceful retreats, as well as the strength it gave her to keep going.

Tammy also expressed her love through her hands. She had a passion for crafting, creating thoughtful, beautiful pieces for the people she cared about most. Each gift she made carried a part of her—her patience, her creativity, and above all, her love.

She will be remembered for her resilience, her caring heart, and the quiet but powerful ways she showed up for the people in her life. Tammy's presence will be deeply missed, but the love she gave and the strength she showed will remain with all who knew her.

Tammy Woolery leaves behind memories that will be cherished and held close, a reminder of a life lived with courage, love, and meaning.
