Teresa Kay Harris (Trout), 61, passed away on Sunday morning, April 22, 2018.

Teresa was born on January 9, 1957 to William S. and Dorothy L. (Belt) Trout at Excelsior Springs Hospital. She married James R. Harris of Hardin. They were united in marriage on May 22, 1976 just one day after she graduated from High School.

To this union were born 3 children, Kim Campbell (Dean) of Jamesport, MO, Rebecca Harris of Tina, MO and Jeremy Harris (Judy) of Hale, MO; Along with her natural children several friends of her children called her mom. She semi adopted one of them, Matt Ridenour of Hale, MO. Along with these she has 2 brothers, Larry E. Trout (Elizabeth) of Lexington, MO and William D. Trout (Mary) of Richmond, MO; sister, LaDonna Fifer (Donald) of Urbana, MO; 10 grandchildren whom she dearly loved; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Teresa was a homemaker and housewife. She was of the Baptist faith. Teresa enjoyed her animals. She raised dogs, rabbits, cattle and chickens.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either the Teresa Kay Memorial Fund or to the Donor's choice.
