Terry Louis Love, 75, of Richmond, passed away Friday, December 6, 2024, at the Kansas City VA Medical Center.

Terry was born on January 9, 1949, in Kansas City, the son of Donald and Dorothy (Gulley) Love.  He was united in marriage to Wanda K Gaunt of Richmond on November 20, 1971; she survives of the home.

Additional survivors include: son, Jerrett (Diane) Love of Richmond; daughter, Amy Love of Richmond; three grandchildren: Gabriel (Hailey) Mansell, Jayden Love, and Bentley Love; two great-grandchildren, Evelyn Mansell and Conway Mansell; and sister, Jennifer Brenton of Richmond.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Terry was raised and educated in the community where he was born. A proud Vietnam veteran, Terry worked tirelessly throughout his life to provide for his family. He found great joy in trips to the House at Lake Taneycomo, in Forsythe, where he loved fishing and enjoying the outdoors. Terry was skilled with his hands and spent countless hours working on cars, a passion he pursued with dedication.

Known for his playful spirit, Terry was a true prankster who loved to bring laughter to those around him. His greatest joy, however, was spending time with his cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He also shared a special bond with his beloved Boston Terrier, Mia. Above all, Terry deeply loved his family, who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
