THERESA F. BELL
Theresa F. Bell, 83, of Lexington, MO died at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at her home.
Theresa was born on August 16, 1928 in New Brunswick, NJ to Nassif and Jamelia (Darwish) Nicola. She married William Palmer Bell of Lexington, MO on April 1, 1951; he survives of the home.
Additional survivors include one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Christina Nicola of Long Island, NY; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Kathryn Hughes of Lexington and Jean and Joe Eddings of Kansas City, MO; 3 grandchildren, Alisha Chambers, Steven Miller, Jr., and Marshall Miller; and 4 great-grandchildren, Joshua Miller, Nick Clark, Trevor Clark and Genesis Chambers.
In addition to her parents, Theresa was preceded in death by one son, Joseph Bell; one daughter, Patricia Ann Bell; one brother, Joe Nicola; and one sister, Norma Grosso.
Theresa was a homemaker. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was a clerk for the Shepard's Hardware Store in Lexington. Theresa had worked at Lake City Arsenal; she was a waitress at Jim Hughes Restaurant in Lexington and as a clerk at Nick's Grocery Store also in Lexington.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Theresa Bell Memorial Fund.
Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lexington. Visitation will be Thursday, October 27, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a rosary will be recited at 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Lexington. Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of the arrangements.
