Todd Michael Snodgrass, Sr., 62, of Richmond, passed away Monday, March 3, 2025, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City.

Todd was born on July 11, 1962, in Troy, Doniphan County, KS, the son of Russell Leonard and Hazel Fern (Chiochon) Snodgrass.

Survivors include: two sons, Todd Michael Snodgrass, Jr. and Michael Snodgrass; and two daughters, Makala Snodgrass and Nicole Snodgrass.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Todd's daughters will always cherish his sense of humor, his endless jokes, and his contagious laughter. They spoke every other day, checking in on each other, with Todd often calling first thing in the morning to wake them up—something they all came to expect. Their conversations were mostly through video chats, allowing them to stay connected despite the distance.

Todd shared many lessons with his daughters, from how to mow lawns with a riding mower to collecting and smashing cans, scrapping metal, and even taking rides on his motorcycle. He was proud of his full-blooded Apache heritage, always wearing a bandana to complement his long hair.

A devoted father and grandfather, Todd never missed a chance to send gifts when he could, often including his hand-drawn artwork, small electronics, and unique knick-knacks. Over the past few years, he and his daughters grew even closer, with them traveling to visit him whenever possible. His love for his family was unwavering, and he was especially protective of his grandchildren. No matter what, Todd never judged his children and always offered them unconditional love and support.
