Vaughn H. Evans II, 72 of Higginsville, MO passed away peacefully on May 23, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born on January 12, 1953, in Excelsior Springs to Vaughn Evan and Edna Estenbaum.

Survivors include: the love of his life Barbara Goring of Higginsville; one stepdaughter, Megan Goring of Higginsville; one daughter, Jana Boice of Boisdare; two sons, Travis and Dustin Evans; one sister, Penny Chaney; one brother, Rocky (Barbara) Evans; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by a handful of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date announced by the family. In lieu of flowers the family kindly request donations be made to the Higginsville Cancer Coalition.
