VIOLA MAE WILLE

Viola Mae Wille, 99, of Norborne, MO died Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at her home.

Viola was born on November 20, 1917 in Norborne to Jerry and Ethel (Scheible) Craig.  She first married Edward Virgil Albrecht of Norborne on September 8, 1937; he preceded her in death in 1956.  She later married James L. "Jim" Wille of Norborne on July 9, 1958; he survives of the home.

Additional survivors include; two sons and two daughters-in-law, Bernard and Elizabeth Albrecht of Norborne and Donnie and Theresa Albrecht of Norborne; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Shirley and Ernie Erbschloe of Columbia, MO and Carol and William Norton of Osage City, MO; two sisters, Norma "Judy" Albrecht of Norborne and Marion Kimbrough of Norborne; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and first husband, Viola was preceded in death by one daughter, Viola Marie Albrecht who died in infancy; two brothers, Floyd Craig and Kenneth Craig; and one sister, Ruth Craig Lowery.

Viola was a homemaker.  She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Norborne.  She was a member of St. Ann's Altar Society.  She was a member of the Moss Creek Homemakers and the Norborne garden club.  Viola was a 4-H leader.  She was an avid gardener, bird watcher, loved quilting and cooking.  She was a lifelong Norborne resident.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Donor's Choice.

Funeral mass will be Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Norborne.  Visitation will be Friday, August 25, 2017 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:30 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Norborne.   Burial will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Norborne.  Online condolences may be left on our website at www.thurmanfuneralhome.com
