WARREN G. JOHNSON
Warren G. Johnson, 90, of Richmond, MO, died at 10:41 a.m., Monday, February 6, 2012, at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.
Mr. Johnson was born January 16, 1922 in Dockery, MO to John and Ethel (Wrisinger) Johnson. He married Melba Jean Hardwick on May 10, 1947; she preceded him in death on September 15, 1987.
Survivors include one son, Steve Johnson of Kansas City, MO; one daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Ted Tracy of Richmond; three grandchildren, Kyle Tracy, Keri Cavanah and her husband, Trey, and Kristen Sweeney and her husband, Roger; and six great-grandchildren, Tucker Tracy, Layne Cavanah, Livia Jo Cavanah, Latimer T. Cavanah, Pierson and Presley Sweeney.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Howard "Doc" Johnson, Richard Johnson, Lynn "Jake" Johnson and Mitch "Mickey" Johnson; and one sister, Catherine "Kak" Haynes.
Mr. Johnson worked at General Motors for 42 years before retiring in 1988. He was a minister in the Jehovah Witness Church for over 50 years. He lived in the Dockery and Richmond areas most of his life. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.

Funeral services will be Friday, February 10, at 10:00 a.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond, MO.
