WAUNITA LEE CROOK

Waunita Lee Crook, 87, of Hardin, MO died Sunday, November 3, 2013 at her home.
Waunita was born on September 10, 1926 in Wellington, MO to Leonard L. and Jessie L. (Looney) Bernhard. She married Samuel Robert Crook of Hardin, MO on April 17, 1949; he preceded her in death on May 14, 2002.
Survivors include two sons, Samuel Mark Crook of Hardin, MO and Dennis Lee Crook of Richmond, MO; one sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Bob Griffing of Richmond, MO; and one granddaughter and her husband, Tesha and Shane Buhrmeister of Odessa, MO.
Waunita was a 1946 graduate of Hardin High School. She was a homemaker. Waunita was a member of the Hardin First Baptist Church and the Hardin Friendly Garden Club. She had lived in the Hardin area since 1939.
The family suggest memorial contributions be made to either the Hardin First Baptist Church, Hardin Cemetery or to the Crossroads Hospice.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hardin First Baptist Church. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 6, 2013 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Church.
