WILLIAM LEE "BILL" ROSS

William Lee "Bill" Ross, 87, of Richmond, MO died at 3:05 a.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.
Bill was born on March 10, 1924 in Camden, MO to Earl and Mary (Irons) Ross. He married Mary Virginia Williams of Lexington, MO on November 8, 1952; she survives of the home.
Additional survivors include two sons and two daughters-in-law, Curtis Alan and Michelle Ross of Kearney, MO and David Lee and Barb Ross of Richmond; five grandchildren and their spouses, Mark and Joanie Kahl, Kent and Amie Ross, Brian Ross, John and Jamie Luppes, Andy and Mary Hinojos; 7 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Gloria Whitmer of Pleasant Valley also survives.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by three brothers, Ralph Ross, Ellis Ross and Donald Keith "Jack" Ross; three sisters, Elenora Dugan, Velma Elliott and Margaret Thomas; and one daughter in-law, Wanda M. (Proffitt) Ross.
Bill was a lifelong farmer. He was of the Christian Faith. He had lived in the Camden area most of his life. He was a School Bus Driver for Orrick School District. He was a member of the Orrick Special Road District. He worked at Lake City Arsenal Plant and the Orrick Dehydrating Plant.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Vita's Hospice.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial will be in the Richmond Memory Gardens.
