WILLIAM JAMES "BILL" WARREN, SR.

William James "Bill" Warren, Sr., 82, of Richmond, MO, died at 1:23 p.m., Thursday, August 26, 2010, at the North Care Hospice House, North Kansas City, MO.
Bill was born July 12, 1928 in Conway, MO to Cassie Leon and Gladys Ruth (Maddux) Warren. He married Bessy "Ginger" Davis of Rawlins, WY on February 3, 1961; she survives.
Other survivors include four sons and three daughters-in-law, William James "Bill" Warren, Jr. and Lori of Frankfort, IL, Michael "Mic" Warren of Pinedale, WY, Mark "Tony" and Rebecca "Becky" Warren of Richmond, and David and Danyell Warren of Corona, CA; three daughters and one son-in-law, Diane "Kandi" Douglas of Milan, IL, Vickie Rhea "Kookie" and Rick Paravicini of Eden, WY, and Tricia "Trixcy" Warren of Richmond; two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Jack and Eloise Warren of Fairview, MO and Dan and Shirley Warren of Conway, MO; two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Geneva and Junior Harris of Camdenton, MO and Elaine and Norm Sherrs of San Luis Obispo, CA; 14 grandchildren, Wednesday Bennett, Dawn Schell, Spring Simpson, Jessica "Jessy" Warren, Kristopher Warren, Marc Warren, Phillip Warren, Erica Warren, Kaylor "Jade" Warren, Jenna Warren, Heile Warren, Keegan "Chase" Warren, Samantha Warren-Bryant and Elizabeth Warren-Bryant; seven great-grandchildren, Grace Bennett, Brandon Schell, Hope Bennett, Brooklynn Schell, Kayla Simpson, Madyson Schell and Alyssa Simpson; and other family members, Gina Simone of Kansas City, MO, Jody Warren of Hardin, MO and Barb Warren of Germany.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, John D. Warren and Junior Warren; and two sisters, Iris "June" Richards and Dixie Mosby.
Bill was a transport driver for Signal Delivery before retiring in 1990. He had lived in Ray County, MO since 1971. He was a past member of the Teamsters Union. He was of the Baptist faith.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the William J. "Bill" Warren, Sr. Memorial Fund.

Memorial services will be Saturday, August 28, at 7:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond, MO. Visitation will be Saturday, August 28, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond, MO. Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond, MO is in charge of the arrangements.
