WILLIAM E. "BILL" HAMBRICK
William E. "Bill" Hambrick, 82, of Richmond, MO, died on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at the North Care Hospice House in North Kansas City, MO.

Bill was born on January 25, 1935 in Hodge, Mo to George W. and Pauline (Frazier) Hambrick. He married Emma Mae Hewlett of Henrietta, MO on June 15, 1961. She preceded him in death on August 31, 2010.

Survivors include; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Willie E. and Charlotte Hambrick of Warsaw, MO, Chuck Hambrick and his companion, Tammy Menke of Richmond, MO, 2 daughters, Tammie Foster of Richmond, MO, Renee Kellerman and her companion, Jim Strider of Richmond, MO, 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to his parents and wife, Bill was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Hambrick and 2 sisters, Wilma Butler and Ruthann Parks.

Bill was a farmer. He also worked for Larry Hicks, Cathy and Karen Slade, Collie and Gary Burgess. He was the mushroom king of Ray County. He sold melons and vegetables at the 10-13 Diner parking lot for several years. Bill was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Richmond American Legion Post #237 and the Ray County VFW Post #4398. He was a member of the Heavy Laborers Union local #663. He had lived in the Henrietta area most of his life, before moving to Richmond.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the family's choice.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2017 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial will be in the Richmond Memory Gardens Cemetery.
