WILLIAM JOHN "BILL" HALL, SR.

William John "Bill" Hall, 81, of rural Norborne, Mo died unexpectedly on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at his home.

Bill was born on February 9, 1936 in Dover, Mo to Harry F. and Ruth (Waggoner) Hall. He married Betty Corrina Miller of Central City, KY on December 20, 1963. She survives of the home.

Additional survivors include; two sons and two daughters-in-law, William J. and Mechelle Hall, Jr. of Hardin, MO and Jesse Ray and Teresa Capps of Grandview, MO; two daughters and one son-in-law, Christina and Daniel Weber of Richmond, MO and Betty Jean Craft of Richmond; one sister, Dorothy Wood of Lincoln, CA; 19 grandchildren, Corrina Brueck, Dakota Allen, Laynee Weber, Daniel Weber, Jr., John Weber, Jewelianne Weber, Griffin Weber, William Hall, III, Aaron Hall, Shoshona Hall, Allen Hall, Jesse Capps, Jr., Jamie Cordry, Joseph Capps, Jr., Misty Lida, Amber Sprong, Mariah Glenn and Trisha Gieger; 16 great-grandchildren.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Joseph Capps, Sr., and Robert "Bobby" Hall; one brother, Harry Hall; two sisters, Sharon Oles and Ruth Ann Amer; one grandson, Shane Hall; and one great-granddaughter, Tiana Allen.

Bill worked as a Machinist for TWA. He had lived in the Lafayette and Ray County most of his life. He was a United States Army Veteran and had served his country overseas in Germany. He was a volunteer fireman for the Stet Fire District. Bill was an avid hunter, fisherman, mushroom hunter and excellent trap shooter who love the outdoors. He was of the Christian faith.

The family suggests in lue of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Richmond Boy Scout Troop #324.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a Tribe of Mic-O-Say service at 9:45 a.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial will be in the Richmond Memory Gardens where military honors will be provided by the Ray County Veterans.
