WILLIAM GRAHAM, JR.

William Graham, Jr., 91, of Richmond, MO died at 6:39 p.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at the Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.
Junior was born on March 16, 1920 near Rayville, MO to Willie and Clara Adair (Norris) Graham. He married Beulah H. Brewer of Richmond, MO on January 11, 1945. She survives of the home.
Additional survivors include; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Billy Leach of Richmond, MO, Sandra and Gordon Ferguson of Columbia, MO, one sister, Ila Fern Elliott of Higginsville, MO, five grandchildren and their spouses, Stephanie and Mike Waigand, Carrie and John Bryant, Dr. Meredith Adair Leach, Amy Ferguson, Amanda and Steve Salzman, four great-grandchildren also survive, Rance and Alexa Waigand, Jillian and Adrienne Bryant.
In addition to his parents, Junior was preceded in death by; one son, Ronald William Graham and one brother, Elmer Graham.
Junior was a lifelong farmer. He was owner and operator of Graham Polled Herefords for several years. He was a past president of the Elkhorn R-VII school board. He was a member of the Ray County Extension Council, the Ray County Fair Board and the county A.S.C. committee. He was also a member of the Ray County Planning and Zoning committee. He was very active in 4-H work as a project leader. He was a member of the Ray County Farm Bureau. He received the Farm Management award in 1983. He was a member of the Richmond First Baptist Church. He lived in the Richmond area most of his life.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Marfan Foundation.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial will be in the Richmond Memory Gardens Cemetery.
