WILLIAM PALMER BELL

William Palmer Bell, 85, of Lexington, MO died at 11:09 a.m. on Friday, January 20, 2012 at the Lafayette Regional Health Center in Lexington.
William was born on September 26, 1926 in Lexington, MO to Harry A. and Carie M. (Palmer) Bell. He married Theresa Florence Nicola of New Brunswick, NJ on April 1, 1951; she preceded him in death on October 22, 2011.
Survivors include three grandchildren, Alisha Chambers of Orange, TX , Steven Miller, Jr., of Orange, TX and Marshall Miller of Sedalia, MO; 4 great-grandchildren, Joshua Miller, Nick Clark, Trevor Clark and Genesis Chambers; brother in-law and sister in-law, Robert and Christina Nicola of Long Island, NY; two sisters in-law and brother in-law, Kathryn Hughes of Lexington and Jean and Joe Eddings of Kansas City, MO.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by one son, Joseph Bell; and one daughter, Patricia Ann Bell.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the William Palmer Bell memorial fund.
Bill was an Engineer for Vendo and Hobert in Kansas City, MO. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lexington and the Knights of Columbus. Bill was a United States Navy Veteran.


Funeral mass will be held on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 10:30 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lexington. Visitation will be Monday, January 30, 2012 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30a.m., with a rosary will be recited at 10:15 a.m. at the church. Inurnment will be in the Memorial Park in Lexington. Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond is in charge of the arrangements.
