WILMA JEAN ROWAN

Wilma Jean Rowan, 78, of Richmond, MO died Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at the Shirkey's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.

Wilma was born on August 24, 1937 in Egerton, MO to William and Josephine (Culp) Bressman. She married Calvin Rowan of Richmond on July 8, 1962.

Survivors include her husband, Calvin Rowan of Rayville, MO; one son and daughter-in-law, J. Patrick and Laurie Rowan of Richmond; one brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Ruby Bressman of Ft. Worth, TX; and one grandson, JohnPatrick Rowan.

In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by one daughter, Misty Jo Rowan; and one sister, JoAnn Bressman.

Wilma worked as a secretary for Reserve National Insurance Company in St. Joseph, MO. She lived most of her life in St. Joseph until her health failed and she moved back to Richmond to be near her family. She was a member of the St. Ann's Methodist in St. Joseph.

The family suggest memorials be made to the Wilma Jean Rowan memorial fund.
